DiffPose accelerates projection matching by using a differentiable imaging model to refine molecular orientations. Efficient matching is important when cellular cryo-EM images need to be searched against many possible molecular templates.
Our goal is to make these large-scale in situ searches practical, so we can identify molecular targets directly in their cellular environment.
