Samuel, Class of 2029, is from Tampa, Florida and is majoring in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry while pursuing a certificate in Data Science. His research interests center on how mitochondrial stress and ROS alter proteasome function, protein quality control, and stress adaptation in S. cerevisiae. Additionally, he is interested in using cryo-EM/2DTM to study proteasome abundance, localization, and conformational state shift across cellular environments.
